A walk in the still-warm sunshine to see if I could twitch either a Dartford warbler or a Snow Bunting - will I never learn? All I saw was a few Stonechats, and a couple of Meadow Pipits.
Yes, definitely meadow pipits.
Even though they made no seep,seep,seep.
And their tails seemed longer than mipits.
And they were more confiding than usual. And possibly with a little more contrast on the breast. Definitely meadow pipits.
