After the thaw......

After the thaw, the sun came out (not warm, but not bad) and nature started to make up for lost time. I believe this is Sycamore (or maybe Norway Maple?)The early Willow Warblers have moved on, but there's plenty of Chiffchaffing going on.

Dunnock

and a Starling

As a matter of record, I mamaged to twitch Steve Ray's Ring Ouzel on the clifftop at St Margaret's, but only distantly, after which it flew into the middle of some scrub and indulged in some pre-sleep singing - rather like a blackbird with a sore throat.

Lovely snow shots...I like that single lump of ice on the one green leaf...very nice! Tree buds and birds...what more can we ask for??

Beautiful shots! I'm happy to say that spring has finally sprung here! Today I saw the first spring flowers in my garden.

The Ouzel did the same to me, but no song. Disappeared in to the thicket and didn't allow a picture.
