Can't compete

The small amount of snow that landed on East Kent looked pathetic in comparison to the depths dumped on Surrey and London (note to readers in other countries - all things are relative and we don't see proper snow very often).

It is, by the way, Groundhog Day (or Candlemas Day in English), and as we did not see our shadows it could be that we'll soon see the end of winter:

If Candlemas be fair and bright,
Winter has another flight.
If Candlemas brings clouds and rain,
Winter will not come again.

This is posted as a matter of record only, and not a formal prediction. Thanks to Rambling Woods for the info.
Snow ploughs need not attend.

We might be able to send you a snow plow...'smile' The birds didn't seem to mind at all and I don't either if you found something useful from any post of mine....Michelle

The first shot is beautiful of the horses! They don't seem to mind the snow. I'll go with whatever prediction says no more winter.
